A new 2 form of entry school building, relocating the existing Kidbrooke Park Primary School. The school will provide a new learning environment for 420 pupils including a new S.E.N.D environment for 18 pupils.
The building sits on formerly overgrown field site, with the proposal refreshing the landscape and providing a number of community facilities. A T-shaped block sits to the north of the site with a MUGA facility, habitat forest and orchard to the South, providing a modern, sustainable, building with high quality educational facilities. The school achieves BREEAM Excellent.
Located in a sensitive area, close to the Green Belt, the new school will provide extensive community facilities, including a new multi-use games area, available for use during out-of-school hours and associated changing facility building, and a badminton court in the school main hall. A Learning Centre will be provided as additional resource for children with SEMH issues.
